Why "Emo" ?

I'm not emo. I wear black a lot and band tees and skinny jeans and thick eyeliner and listen to hard rock and hate most mainstream music, so heaps of people call me emo for it. I don't get why though. It's as if you HAVE to be labelled to exist.

And yes, I mean about everything.

Its not something you choose its just who you are Im not really emo I used to be but I just really like the music and style the mood though not really me If that makes any sense.

I'm not really emo...just depressed/goth/nerd ... and maybe metal if thats a classification now. o.0 I heart headbanging...although I haven't been in any mosh pits. *whispers* Mosh pits scares me...*whisper* I do cut myself but I don't think you necessarily need to do that to be 'emo.' And I've been this way since sophomore year...which is 2 and half years. Yay! *happy dance* ...
