Two Vertical Labrets! n____n

So I got snakebites a while back; but they were uneven. So I got one redone and they were perfectly fine. Then I noticed that my gums were still receding and it was making me in near CONSTANT pain whenever I did pretty much anything with my mouth; Imagine laughing and then realizing that you opened your mouth too far and now your gums are bleeding.. NOT COOL.
So fastt forward about eight or nine months; one night I was thinking about vertical labrets;; but I still wanted to have two piercings so my boyfriend told me why not get two instead of snakebites?
So I called the shop and they said I could come in at 6:00 so I took out my snakebites and four hours later got my verticals done.
The piercing was alright; after the first one I was already throbbing and swollen; so the second one really hurt. ;---;
Soo; anyways;;; what one do you think looks better?

TODAY; five days later; I'm smiling; and I made it bright because I'm not wearing makeup!

Wow. I love them. I've been planning to get something like that for a while but my mom took my money for the piercings so it's on hold until I get paid back. I also feel self conscious because my sister says I would look weird because of how my face is shaped but I don't know if I should trust her about that. But I love them and I want it done dearly. I still have to get my mom to sign for me to but I'm getting there. She keeps changing her mind and it's always okay I'll take you but then an hour later it's I never said that and I'll talk to you father. sweatdrop Right now I'm stuck between the vertical labrets or the ones below in the link.

Tell my what you think? Will it look okay or will it look horrible like I've been told. I also wear glasses but I had sunglasses on to pose for the picture.

Opps. I guess I forgot I'm not supposed to delete the picture after putting it up. I'll fix that... and I love the wikipedia ones too.

So what was the healing like? How long did it take to heal? I have other questions but none that come to mind right now.
