Mistaken ages

I look younger than I actually look.
I was ID'ed for a cinema ticket, when I was of age, and all my friends weren't. They never got ID'ed.

I can still get away with child tickets too :]

A few years ago, my parents took my sisters and I to Mickey D's. They went and ordered so my older sister (who is a year older than I) and my younger sister sat down together. Then these two old ladies walked by and made a comment of how similar I look to my mom (my older sister), and something about teenage pregnancy. . .

We were only like 11-12 then. D:

When I was in middle school, people constantly thought I was in high school. I don't know what people think now since I carry a wallet that has Guilford College written on it.

When I was 17 I was commonly mistaken for a 21 year old. Mostly due to my mature behavior, beard and glasses, so I was told.

But that was only because my mom and step-dad knew the owner. Haha.

Once when I was 11 someone thought I was like 16 and I couldn't get in with child's fare. I don't look much more mature in the face, but I was tall so people just assume I'm older. It's sort of gay though. I only grew a few inches since then. I'm almost 5'8 and I'm continually thought of as at least 18 when I am 15.

When I was 12 some 20 year old guys were hitting on me and when I asked them how old they thought I was and they looked me like I was crazy I said 12 and they were all like.... eek "o's**t..... lets run before the police come."

I lol about it now, but when it happened I was like 12 it was sort of scary.

Whenever we're at the theater buying tickets they always point at me and ask "You sure you don't want a child’s ticket?"
It gets so irritating!

My friends keep telling me I look a lot younger. >;O

For movies, I can sometimes get away with paying the child fare. Not anymore I think.. since I haven't tried it in so long. xD

Okay so..I'm 17 and 5ft tall. For some reason, people seem to think that I look young because I'm short or something, I dunno. I get called a 12-15 yr old all the time. One time though, when I was 16, I was so grateful to not be carded for buying a ticket to see an r-rated movie. x_X. That's like the only time no one thought I was like a 10 year old trying to see the bad movie. >[

Both IRL and online, people are constantly thinking that I'm older than I really am... which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. :0

As for my real age, I'm 13. :3

IRL, I've always been incredibly tall for my age, which sometimes leads to people thinking I'm older than I am. At age 13 right now, I'm 5'9 in height. In fifth grade when I was 10, I was 5'1. xD;;

As for online... well, I've been talking to people I don't know online since I was 9 years old, and even then I was just as literate as I am now. I didn't dare tell anybody my age back then in fear of being made fun of by "all those old teenagers out there", but now I sorta wish I did... I bet they'd have been impressed. xDD;;
I was probably 11 when I decided it was okay to tell the people I really liked online my age, and when I did, they'd always say something along the lines of "Really?! I thought you were around 14 or 15 or something like that!!". xD <3

But it discontinues after they realize I'm waaay too short. But meh, whatever.

A lady at the bank said that I looked 12 when I went to get something notorized. I'm 18 and that was the first time that I heard that I looked that young. I'm not sure if people mistake my age often.

My parents are also told that they look younger than they really are. My dad got carded when he was in his late 30s and my mom was carded at a casino when she was pregnant with me. My mom has also been mistaken for my older sister plenty of times.
