eh. My family has always been speaking little random japanese words to me since I was a baby. (I'm half Japanese). I don't think it really rubbed off, honestly.

I can understand most of it when its spoken, but thats about it. My dad tried to teach me when I was younger (hes from Japan) but growing up I had little use for it because he was the only person I knew who could speak it.

I think counting is actually one of the easiest things to learn
ichi
ni
san
shi
go
roku
shichi/nana
hachi
kyu
jyu
(That's one to ten)

then it's jyuichi, jyuni, and so on... (Idk if that's how it's spelled. If not, someone plz correct me!)

then its nijyuichi for 20.

get it? I can only count to 99 though... gonk

That's cool. people make fun of me cause I like Japanese and I firgot how to speak Spanish cause I was so focused on Japanese and now I combine bits and pieces of Spanish, French, and Japanese into my english. sweatdrop
