Sorry to hear what happened, but glad you're at least in decent shape 4laugh
I've been in a few accidents, myself...
The first was when I was 17. It was 3 days after getting my first car. I was at a 2 way stop by my house. There were really tall weeds in the ditch, so I didn't see a car coming & went. As soon as I saw the car, I floored it. Good thing I floored it because they would've hit me on my side~ instead, they hit the back driver's side. Totaled the car.
Next one was when my ex was driving us around a highway near NYC. The people in front of us slammed on their brakes, so he slammed on his (i'm really a girl, & this is just a mule rofl ), & the pilled up lady behind us slammed on hers a little too late. No one was hurt, but his lil Escort was in pretty bad shape ~ the bumper was hanging to the point it was touching his back wheel. (We duct taped & tied the bumper back up as a temporary solution until we got back home to Buffalo lol)
Last one was in my friend's giant conversion van on the thruway during a driving ban (due to a somewhat mild snowstorm). He hit a patch of black ice, did a 180 in the middle of the thruway, hit a snowbank & drifted about 20 feet off the road. I was sitting in the very back, without a seatbelt; and thanks to the momentum of the swing, I was pushed up against the giant window next to me, head first. Then I was trying to push myself away from the window, first by pushing against the window then against the frame, all the while having my ex being pushed up against me. When we hit the snowbank, I fell back onto the window full force, & popped the window out. When I opened my eyes, I was halfway out the window. (Good thing my ex was holding onto me for dear life! lol) That wasn't cool. rofl Nobody got hurt beyond hitting their heads on the windows a bit, but I guess I got the worst of it. Had we slid another 30 feet though, we would've been thrown over a huge hill & disappeared from sight. God, I despise snow!!!

Five or so years ago I was grocery shopping with my mom, I didn't want to go out of the car so I was in the parked car. I was moving around and looking through the back window, even though I sat in the passenger seat. I saw a car coming at our car and luckily it only hit the wheel, but the lady in the car didn't know how to drive. I bumped my head, but other than that, I was fine. And the paint chipped off of the car near the wheel, but other than that, the car was also fine.
Luckily, I've never been in a car crash myself *knocks on wood*. I once scraped against a trash bin, and got some green and a small dent on my dad's car's wheel, but that was it. And it was because I was getting out of a parking spot and didn't want to hit the car next to mine, so I prefer a trash bin to a car.

The waves softly hit her legs.
