Okay, I've recently decided that I desperately want to stretch my inner conch piercing. :]
I tried using my taper, but jesus, it hurt like hell!
Is there any tips/advice anyone can give me?
( btw, dermal punches are not an option, I'm such a wuss. D: )

How long ago was it pierced? And is it completely healed yet?

If it's healed completely, then you should be able to stretch it. Take out the jewelry while you're in the shower and massage it. After you're done showering, rub it with some cocoa butter, vitamin E oil, or emu oil. After doing this for a week, your skin will be much more elastic, and the stretching will be much easier. As always, if it hurts much more than a slight discomfort, STOP! Listen to your body.

Happy stretching!

I'm not sure if it's healed yet..
I got it pierced a few months ago, but recently I've gotten hypertrophic scarring on it. I managed to get rid of it just the other day, but it's still a little sore.

Thanks for the advice <33

I'm glad you have the hypertrophic scarring under control. Be absolutely sure that it's healed before you stretch; better safe than sorry, ya know?

You are welcome! I love to help people in need.

I'd advise waiting a month or so just to make sure you won't get a flare up. Mine recently went down and I still have a long barbell in there just incase.

Other wise, just take it slowly, safely and you should be fine smile .

Ouch. Getting a dermal punch will probably be easier than stretching...

Anyway, go REAL slow. And it will be a fairly uncomfortable and probably painful experience.
I think tapers work the best but you could try the tape method too.

Dermal punching will probably be much less painful than you're thinking. I just got a dermal punch shoved straight into my cheek with minimal pain. Of course it isn't cartilage, but yeah.
