Is it stoopid in here...

Death. What a grim and sad topic. As much as I hate to make something like this, I must question, where do we go when we die? Heaven, Hell, Nirvana, Rebirth? All religious and common beliefs held by people all across the world. But I find myself questioning these beliefs.

I'm not gonna sugar coat it there's no such thing as Santa Clause, no Easter Bunny, or Tooth Fairy, why should there be a God up in the sky watching over us? Not to mention if we put the concept of space in the mix. What about all the other supernatural beings out there, if any? What do they believe in as well? Is there actually a set destination for us all? Are we just doomed to die and be forever trapped in our non-responsive bodies in a dark isolated place? Maybe we come back as the things that populate our world like insects and birds? Will our life really flash before our eyes and will we be able to relive it? So many possibilities yet none of which can or will be confirmed.

I am sorry if I have offended anybody or their religions with my beliefs or questions, but I ask it out of pure curiosity. I am a Christian and I still believe in a God and a Heaven.

...or is it just me?

I myself, don't believe in god or an afterlife. But I don't really like that, because it's like, well I don't wanan spend the rest of eternity in the dark, not seeing s**t again. Or just not existing....Well that's not very fun.

I hope that there's reincarnation after death. It just sounds interesting to be someone else. Even if I might not remember my past life.

But I feel like most likely there will be nothing after we die. Which is one reason why I don't want to die because it's an odd thought to think that we're just going to see, feel, think absolutely nothing for the rest of time.

Nobody will ever know for sure. I'm christian, so I go with heaven. My Nana's christian and beleives in heaven, but thinks that some people are reincarnated. I say it's better to beleive something and that way you'll have a chance in going somewhere.

Well, I hve a very twisted theory. I'm catholic, But I don't believe. I think tat time is happening all at once. When you die, You soul wanders for a few days, then a higher power asks you where you want to go. You choose what time you want to be in, and your life unfolds from there. I believe in reincarnation, so, yeah. I always wondered what happens when you die. I thought that no one can remember what death is like.

To 3008 I go! Hopefully they'll have a cure for angst by then...

I think we have a choice of either staying around earth as a spirit or become reincarnated with no recollection of our past life. Our karma in our current lives determine the type of lifestyle we will live in when we do get reincarnated.

I believe in some supreme being, but I don't know for sure and I don't think he is responsible for where we go when we die.

Another way of looking at it is that people are nothing more than animals. If you were God, would you waste your time making this separate little place for all the rats to go after they die? And for that matter, trees are alive too, so they'd need a heaven too, and so would the parasites, like tapeworms. Don't forget about the bacteria, that's alive, too. So I ask you: When God has so much other stuff to do, and that's if he even exists, would the bother to get into the whole process of creating a seperate heaven for every single type of living creature on this planet?

We are stuck in the ground and we rot, happy? If there is a God, why would he take pity on a species so full of hate, lies, hurt (I can keep going, ya know) Face it, no matter what, we're screwed, just accept that fact.

I'm not baptised any religon but, I have studied alot of different religons... I always come to the conclusion that we are all our own energy life force and it is how we give off, and recive that energy... Some people increase their faith by praying to a god or saint... I pray to my mom who passed away in 2006, I know she will always listen and whats crazy is after I pray to her about something it is always answered.... I know your connection to the spirit who brought you into this world is strong and When I leave my mind and heart open to her, i always feel her motherly touch sad ...

So nomatter what you belive in just have faith, and don't be scared of death cause your life is what you make it, the same goes in death it is what you make of it that really matters...

I don't know. I'm not sure, but I really don't want to die. I know we have to, but still. If we do die and then there's no "After Life" then what? We float around in nothingness for ever. That is torture. I often thought that death was like sleeping. You never wake up, but you still dream. I would like to have a choice when I die.

I respect your idea and all, but could you be a little nicer about it? You seem a little threatening...

And not all humans are bad, btw. I've got friends that are physically incapable of lying. It's kinda funny really...

...

I'm WAY off topic now
