So I just got back from my doctors appointment (I saw a specialist for my tonsils). The good new is that their FINALLY going to take them out. The bad new is that I have to wait like a year... oh and I have to get a bunch of tests and s**t done for my heart like a week before. All in all though, I guess it's better than not taking them out .... and I dont' have to pay a thing like those suckers in the U.S.

both my parents have jobs & i'm a full time student so i'm covered by both their insurances so i never have to pay for health care or wait for it

I'm covered through the university and through my bf's job (we still pay for stuff like perscriptions and eye care here).
But on the bright side I guess ... if it's not going to be done for a year I won't have to miss a bunch of school (i'll have graduated by then), fall behind, and fail / get shitty grades.

I don't have to pay for any prescriptions. Yay!
But that is because I have to live with epilepsy. Boo.
If I use the NHS here I don't have to pay anything, but it takes forever and ever for them to get anything done. I'm too old to be covered by my mum's insurance for private healthcare now... so if I want to see my neurologist I have to pay a s**t load.

Shitty. I have to take meds daily now for my thyroid, but their 80% covered so it ends up being not too much. I go to the chardeologist for my hear every year or two but I don't have to pay a penny.
