Rayne smiles as he stumbles over his words a bit and shrugs. "Probably... he seemed really adamant about having one." She replies, wondering for a moment why he wanted one so badly. "Anyways, I'm willing to wait, or whatever. Not like I have much to do around here." She replies.

"Ok just give me a minuet to finish. You can come in if you'd like." Leaving the door open and walking over to hir bed sie sat down and took the towel off hir hand. Applying to ointment quickly sie then wrapped it and collected all the leftovers, taking them to the bathroom. Walking back out and to hir bag sie pulled out a pair of fingerless gloves and slid them carefully over hir hands.

"Er, ok." Rayne comments, stepping inside and looking around his room quietly. "Nice room." She comments after a moment. It wasn't as massive as hers, but that was by no means bad. It was still nice. "So... um, what is your power, anyways?" She asks as she glances over at him.

"I'm like an open door to Spirits and emotions. They possess me or sometimes I can channel them." Sie unplugged a lamp from the bedside table and wrapped the cord around it. "You control heat?" Sie looked up at her questioningly.

"Oh... that doesn't sound like much fun." She comments upon hearing his power, grimacing slightly. Having spirits or other emotions in her head? No thank you.
At Travis's question, Rayne shrugs. "Eh, yea, and I can start full fledged fires too... but I usually try to avoid doing that." She jokes as she smiles. She was pretty pleased with herself actually. She'd been here four days and hadn't started a single accidental fire yet. Which was better than her standard record.

But yeah, most of the time it's not fun at all." looking surprised at the power Travis finished wrapping the cord around the lamp and walked over "You must be fairly good at controlling it then, like with the plastic, you didn't just put a fire under it you just melted some of it. That takes control."

Rayne shrugs again, then rolls her eyes. "Yea... sometimes I have control. Sometimes.... not so much. I've been doing a lot better than usual. When I'm calm, or relaxed, I can do whatever I want with my powers... but it seems with fire powers I got the stereotypical hotheadedness.... and it doesn't take much for me to lose control then." She replies, remembering briefly how she'd reacted to Ted's assumption about the pool heating up a few days ago. That had been one of those times... but luckily she'd only melted a spoon and heated up the kitchen a bit. "So, anyways, lets go drop off that lamp." She replies, turning and leaving the room. Sie smiled at the description that Rayne gave of herself, but could see what she meant by it. "Ok. I hope he doesn't mind the time..."

 Walking into hir room and getting ready for bed Travis realized that it felt like one of the most productive days sie had had during hir entire time here. Dressing down into a loose shirt and shorts sie climbed into bed and started to sleep.
