SO i preety much just got my DS
And i was wondering these things

whats that thingy called where you can conect your wii to the internet?
Will it wirk with a mac?
How much douse it cost.
any other things you think you shoude tell the noob

If you have one of the routers Nintendo supports, it will work. If it doesn't, you will need one of Nintendo's WIFI dongles. These don't seem to work with Macs.

Alternatively, you could just get one of those LAN dongles that work with anything -- it's what I use, even if the range is quite limited.

1. either a router or USB connector
2. Yes
3. wouldnt know, can buy at bestbuy circuit city etc

I would say routers are better because a USB cord you have to sit by your computer/laptop.

I would say routers are better because a USB cord you have to sit by your computer/laptop.

Routers all the way guys, the USB ones are cheap for a reason

and the nintendo Wifi thing,

I would get a router, you can find a cheap router for the same price (or less) and it will work better

i love mc donalds wifi cause when i go skiing all i have to do is stop by one of the mcdonalds and play mario kart untill its time to ski. it rocks! anyway yea use a router and make sure you lock it so people dont mooch of it.

So, if i get a Nintendo DS, i would have to buy a router and still have to pay for wi-fi? crap. is it expensive? i would rather be at home than sitting in McDonalds when i want to play against other people...
