Just what it says. I was going to do my whammy bar and it broke. It won't pop back up on its on anymore. It still works, just no spring. Can I fix it without opening up the guitar controller?

Sorry, that doesn't work. I tried it. Unless you're supposed to do it hours on end, I don't think that's the way to fix it. Oh, well. Time to get a screwdriver out.

Mine's "Broken" but it can still work. It's broken because if I push it up,it wont come back down, but it will display the whamying in the game. (I'm not even sure if whammying is a word)

take a rubber band, and tie it around the base of the whammy bar, and the closest nub that holds the guitar strap. it will automatically pull the whammy bar back for you.

use a rubber band they fix everythin like on thru the fire and flames on expert u use one to hold down the green button for u and now u could make it so that the wammy bar gets pulled back the rubber would strech so u could still use it and then wen ur done then the rubber band should pull it back into place

Sweet! I have a whole collection of rubber bands on a ball! I'll try it out, but I'm kinda finished with the PS2 games for now anyways. But when my friends come over to play then I'll try it. Thanks a lot!

Same here, my whammy bar is sort of like that. Mine doesn't stay up, well mine does but it sort of levels down at a lower spot and it feels loose.
