The only complications I've heard of are the pain involved. I hear it's no picnic. My boyfriend has his done and he tells everyone to just do it one at a time.
But like any tongue piercings, normal complications can occur. But if they're a trained professional, they'll know how to avoid those things(hitting veins and such).
I think it's a really nifty piercing, I just don't have the cahones. haha.

Centre tongue piercings avoid the two huge veins in your tongue. Venoms pretty sit right next to them. So you want a really good piercer who knows how to tell where to pierce (and when to not pierce at all).
