We're glad you made it here to begin your adventure as a Pokemon Trainer! You and your many best friends will have plenty of exciting adventures as you try to achieve the rank of Pokemon Master!

Guild Rules - For Members
~ Follow the rules for Gaia Online without exception.
~ If a crew member says something - that's the end of it. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, be sure to PM me and explain how you are being treated badly so I can play judge and take care of it.
~ Your character can only begin with one level 5 Pokemon.
~ You can only role-play your Pokemon's actions outside of battle and in battle as long as you don't ensure any hits or attacks working. Crew will always determine what happens - all you can do is give your Pokemon orders.
~ You have to start in the home region of the starter you pick, so choose carefully!
~ If any members are truly interested in the responsibility of being crew, you're going to need to be an above-average role-playing, active, polite, trustworthy member! And I am the judge of that, so just be impressive and I'm sure you'll be acceptable - send me a PM: If we need crew members I'll consider you.
Guild Rules - For Crew
~ All Member rules apply to you as well!
~ You need to be actively updating the member's adventure topics, this is the whole reason you are crew.
~ Please refuse to update adventure topics if a guild member is not updating their first post with the correct information. If you catch someone cheating - or even suspect someone is cheating please PM me and don't let them know they are suspected of cheating. I'd rather just catch them and ban them quickly and quietly.
~ Do not post any stickies, freebies, rules, rare Pokemon, etc. without my permission. I'm not too stingy about this, but I'd like to be notified by PM and then approve things before they happen - I want to know what's going on everywhere! Haha!
~ Do not delete any topics! Always move them to the Storage sub-forum!
~ Whenever you reply to a new topic with the beginning role-playing post, please double-check that the first post includes everything it needs, and is acceptable. If someone tries to start with Mewtwo or $8000, you need to catch it, and ask them to edit before the role-play can begin.
~ Occasionally I will reward the above-average crew members with rare Pokemon or items, just because of all the extra work they are putting into this guild - every bit of work is truly appreciated by me.

Starter Pokemon
Each Pokemon listed below are only listed as ideas. Members may begin with any stage one or baby Pokemon, as long as it is common. You may not start with any hard-to-find Pokemon or Pokemon who have already evolved. If you want to use a Pokemon not listed here, it must be approved by the crew-member who is taking care of your adventure.
Remember, each trainer may begin with one level 5 Pokemon.

Beginning Your Pokemon Adventure
Each Trainer will have their own role-playing topic made in the main forum. When you make the topic please give it a title including your character's name.
In the first post of your adventure, you will keep track of everything - your Pokemon, items, quests, etc. So actually your second post in the topic is when you begin role-playing. You should begin your role-playing with an introductory post. After you post your second post of your adventure, a crew-member will reply and you will begin role-playing.
The first post will always need to include updated information on:
~ Your Trainer Name
~ Your Trainer's Money
~ Your Item Inventory
~ All Your Current Pokemon Listed with Stats (This includes: Pokemon Number, Species, Gender, Level, and four Attacks; Pokemon Nicknames are always optional.)
When you join you begin with $2000, 2 Potions, 5 PokeBalls, 1 Escape Rope, and one level 5 Pokemon. Nothing else for any reason, unless instructed by a crew member.
~ When a crew member replies, they will either approve your profile or ask you up change/add something in that you have forgotten.
~ Whenever you receive a new Pokemon you must add their information correctly as soon as possible! Crew members are instructed to stop updating your adventure if you stop updating the first post.
Example Trainer Name: Money: $2000 Inventory: 2 Potion 5 PokeBall 1 Escape Rope Pokemon: #000 Name/Nickname Lv. 5/Gender Attack 1 _/_PP Attack 2 _/_PP Attack 3 _/_PP Attack 4 _/_PP

Random Other Things
~ All the sub-forums have sticky-directions in them, so use your common sense and read those topics before posting.
~ You may only have one active character per account at any given time.
~ Even if your Pokemon has a nickname, please list it's species in your profile.
Funky Evolution - Stones, Happiness, Etc.
Evolution By Trade: In the games there are a few Pokemon that only evolve if you trade them away - but we're going to get rid of that idea. Any Pokemon that normally would evolve by trade in Diamond/Pearl is now going to evolve based on Happiness. Check the description for Happiness-Based Evolution right below this.
Happiness-Based Evolution: This is up to the owner of the Pokemon to role-play you and your Pokemon having a strong bond. You may let it evolve any time it gains a level, as long as it is happy with you. Make sure the crew-member in charge of your thread knows that you are planning an evolution, though. If the crew-member disagrees with your decision that you have given a lot of love to the specific Pokemon, then you might need to wait a little longer and give that Pokemon more love.
Gender Evolution: Three Pokemon will evolve into specific Pokemon only if their Gender is agreeable. This includes #412 Burmy, who only evolves into #413 Wormadam if female and level 20. However, if #412 Burmy is male, then he will become #414 Mothim at level 20. And #415 Combee will only evolve into #416 Vespiquen if it is a level 25 female.
Attached Item & Level Up: This method is when a Pokemon needs to be holding a specific item whole leveling up naturally at a certian time of day in order to complete the evolution. This applies to #207 Gligar, who needs to hold Razor Fang and evolve at nightime in order to evolve into #472 Gliscor. Also, #215 Sneasel needs to be holding Razer Claw whole evolving at nightime in order to become a #461 Weavile. The Pokemon #440 Happiny needs to be holding an Oval stone at daytime whole evolving in order to become a #113 Chansey. When preforming item-based evolutions, please let the crew-member in your topic know what you are planning before the battle at a time of day actually begins. Thanks!
Stone Evolution: If you have a Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Fire Stone, Leaf Stone, Moon Stone, Shiny Stone, Dusk Stone, or Dawn Stone that can be used to evolve one of your Pokemon, simply include in a role-playing post that you are using the stone on your Pokemon, and the evolution can proceed without a level-up. After using the stone, it will need to be removed from your inventory.
Area-Based Evolutions: Three Pokemon will only evolve into specific Pokemon if they are in a certian area while evolving - no matter what level they are! For example, #133 Eevee will evolve into #470 Leafeon if it evolves in a forest area, or #133 Eevee can evolve into a #471 Glaceon if evolving to any level in an ice-filled area. The Pokemon #082 Magneton will only evolve into #462 Magnezone if the level is gained on a mountian, just like #299 Nosepass, who also evolves on a mountian - at any level - into #476 Probopass. When preforming area-based evolutions, please let the crew-member in your topic know what you are planning before the battle in the specific area actually begins. Thanks!
Other-Pokemon Based Evolution: The Pokemon #458 Mantyke will only evolve into #226 Mantine if you own the Pokemon #223 Remoraid when #458 Mantyke gains a level - any level.
Attack Based Evolutions:
The following evolutions will only happen if the Pokemon to the left knows the attack listed when gaining a level. It does not matter what level they are - but they must know the listed attack in order to evolve into the listed evolution Pokemon.
#108 Lickitung ) must know ( Rollout ) to become ( #463 Lickilicky
#114 Tangelag ) must know ( Ancient Power ) to become ( #465 Tangrowt
#190 Aipom ) must know ( Double Attack ) to become ( #424 Ambipom
#193 Yanma ) must know ( Ancient Power ) to become ( #469 Yanmega
#221 Pilsowine ) must know ( Ancient Power ) to become ( #473 Mamoswine
#438 Bonsly ) must know ( Mimic ) to become ( #185 Sudowoodo
#439 Mime Jr. ) must know ( Mimic ) to become ( #122 Mr. Mime
There are a bunch more, but you get the idea. If you are unsure of how/when your Pokemon will evolve, please double-check the Pokedex.
Evolving With Random Items:
Some Pokemon must have items avaliable to them in order to evolve. Once the Pokemon obtains the item, it will dissappear and the Pokemon will the be able to evolve - no level-up nessessary.
#112 Rhydon must have the item Protector in order to become #464 Rhyperior
#125 Electrabuzz must have the item Electrizer in order to become #466 Electrivire
#126 Magmar must have the item Magmarizer in order to become #467 Magmortar
#233 Porygon 2 must have the item Dubious Disc in order to become #474 Porygon-Z
#356 Dusclops must have the item Dubious Disc in order to become #477 Dusknior
There are a bunch more, but you get the idea. If you are unsure of how/when your Pokemon will evolve, please double-check the Pokedex.
