About Fighting A Gym Leader

Their job is to test your ability as a Pokemon Trainer. Not to give you a fair battle where you can just get a free badge and some extra experience for your Pokemon. So that means there may be a few traps or surprises during the battle. Gym Leaders do not have to accept your challenge. They hold all the power.

The Gym leader's Pokemon can be from any region, and can use attacks from other regions as well! So be careful.

How To Challange A Gym Leader:

First, make sure you meet the requirements for the Gym Leader you wish to challenge - you must challenge them in the order they are listed. Then you request a challenge by posting your character's name, the six Pokemon you are going to use in that battle, and the items you bring (such as Potions) so you may use them for the battle. The title of the topic should be your name vs. the Gym Leader's name.

However, please read the rules for each Gym before challenging any Gym Leader, since some might have different rules/requirements, and some may only let you use a specific amount of Pokemon and/or items.


Other Notes - Please Read This:

~ Each post must go in order, but you may battle whichever region's leader at any time! For example, you have to beat Brock (Kanto) before you challenge Misty (Kanto). But you can choose to challenge Roxanne (Hoenn) after beating Brock (Kanto), as long as you defeat Roxanne (Hoenn) before challenging Brawly (Hoenn).

~ Make sure the crew-member in your main adventure post knows you are starting a gym battle, so they can check here and reply to you.

~ Your character does not need to be in a special town or region to battle the gym leaders, just post a new topic in this sub-forum to battle any of them at any time!
