you know.. if i got married to the person i am with right now. I can garuntee that other then my parents and sister showing up, none of my other family would come. They just found out I am dating a girl.. and now they are all like "well melissa can come but that girl can't. We don't want her here" and I'm all like "ooook.. but you had no problem with her last year.. wtf?" stare I've been telling my family that if she cannot come then don't count on me coming. If they can't accept her they can't accept me, as she is part of me and who i am. But yeah.. it is really annoying.. and i thought my dad's side might have been cooler about me dating a girl, didn't think they'd be so homophobic. stare

But psycho mother-in-law from hell.. sounds like hell, sorry you have to endure that. It's stupid.. you should be able to plan your own wedding, only getting advice on things when you ask them for it. It is YOUR wedding after all, if you want it to be special and perfect you should be able to pick out the things to be done and needed for it.
