The darkness has encased me
All I can do is wait
It creeps slowly like ivory vines
Crawling up an old gate
It’s time is never-ending
It’s life is never-more
It’s climb is never-stopping
It’s health is never-worn
If life has one meaning
Then surely it is this
You cannot cheat Death swiftly
Something will go a-miss

This madness that’s inside
