Destiny's Tears

Words only say so much
Actions speak louder than words
I'd like to do as such
But we are in two different worlds

The life of a daydreamer
can be so fulfilling
Unlike the schemer
those with no feeling

To feel so alone is an extreme
My hearts own desire
To fill would be so mean
Or to set my soul afire

Insecurity overwhelms my heart
Many fears to cloud my thoughts
Nowhere left to stand with nowhere left to fall
everything seems to go hand in hand
There is such an emptiness in my soul
Where does the pain end and the healing begin?

To receive love is a divine gift just as giving love is
You say there is nothing to fear
Please hold me close and wipe away.......

Someone to Love

Life can be confusing
so many wondrous things
Love can be soothing
most takes us on wings

Life brings us new things
sometimes floating on a sea
Many fancy, fleeting flings
but few come to be

There is one love to last forever
something for a fairytale
Many bonds you cannot sever
the winds to sail

The love I mean
is one that is usually unseen
One you cannot forget for awhile
It is the love of a child
