I'm a artist/poet/songwriter and I've been called Gothic because of my poetic way of speech and like of the color black, but I don't always wear black and I listen to good charlotte and billy idol. I think lables are dumb! Most people are way to complex to shove into one lable! Then they're called a freak, which is a lable sweatdrop

People bash me ooc because of the way I am when I speak and the way that I dress. My mindset is always in the darker way of looking at things. I'm unable to control it; it's just the way I am. I've a few friends who understand me and respect me. A lot of people come to me for advice just because I can look at things in a number of ways and see the darkness with certain decisions. I don't claim to be gothic but somehow I must be with the way that I think and act. I doubt my musical taste has anything to do with it...Cradle of Filth is only Gothic influenced.. ~shrugs~ May Darkness Consume.

i believe it was teh renassance, and mostly on French or Spainish cathedrals, like Norte Dame. 3nodding but just to make sure, im gonna try to look it up now. rofl

yeah, i know a lil bit more about the gothic influence cause i went and looked it up. rofl but i still think its rediculous how people like to label themselves after a time period popular for its buildings...

Kusabana_Neko yes, we all know labels are stupid and irrelevant. but really, outside of things like school, labels and popularity mean nothing.
