About Dropsy: Dropsy is a desease that I think is caused mainly by bacterial infection. It was big in my fish tank, but now I've got it all handled. Your fish will become bloated and may be off-color. The abdomen will also appear to be swollen.They also would have sunken eyes and be less active, like floating near the top or hanging near the bottom. This desease affects the eternal organs and about a week you'll find something "fishy" lying down on the bottom of your fish tank. xp Not pretty. But to prevent that from happening, go to your local fish store and find some medicine. That should do the trick. So...

You know i have had some deseases in my aquariums but never that one. The one people most of the time get is ich and its just a parasite on the fish.

Dropsy is actually a symptom.
Its not a death sentence either.
