demoted a crew member for something you thought they did wrong, but then found out that that person was in the right?

Well, it happened to me, and the captain demoted me from Vice to crew and I am super pissed. It wouldn't bother me so much except it was my son. Go figure.. No Valentine's gift for him!!!

I'm sure you'll work it out, if you're that angry - regardless of being related to him - you should quit the guild.

You two could have talked it over IRL.

But I can imagine why someone wouldn't want thier IRL friends in a position of power, little pointless fights+easy way to piss eachother off=not good. But family shouldn't have to worry about it. But since URL you are the one in power there may have been issues there, or someone else was to be promoted to VC and there weren't enough slots left. :/
