And as my wrists slit open
blood pouring on the floor
the tears fall down my face
as you burst through the door.
You promise you won't do it again
as you hold me tight
I think of how you've done this before
and I begin to fight
I push you away
I want you out of my face
needing you to leave
get out of my space
I shut and lock the door once more
and again take my knife
as you watch through my window
when I once again begin to take my life
It's all blacking out
and now that I've gone
lying dead on my bathroom floor
you need to move on.
I was dead before you met me
then you brought me to life
showed me the good times
to bad it had to end with a knife.
