Friendship.

[The Raining Soul]

A friendship ruined
My life's been hell
At least I'm glad
Her life is well

I tried my best
But it wasn't enough
She said I'm a pessimist
In a way that was rough

She hates me because of that
I tried hard to stop
She still doesn't like me
My tears want to drop

We were close, you see
Nothing could separate us
Always together
There was never a fuss

Until she went to a new school
She met new people
And soon I realized
There would be no sequel

To our never ending friendship
She's forever gone
With 'better' people
And with me alone

She wants me to change
So I try and I try
I've lost my wings
I can no longer fly

She doesn't care
She'll hate me forever
This pain is immense
I can no longer endeavor

Living through this pain
I must ask
For help in what I must do
In my mammoth of a task

How do I get jolly?
What is happiness?
Will I ever revive our friendship,
So I don't live in loneliness?
