Daffodil the Destroyer sora987 I don't know why you guys think the parents will be punished cause they aren't going to be. In their warped minds they thought they were actually doing better for the child by simply praying for her. After all, if you believe in giant invisible man who can solve all your problems, surely you'd believe he could take away a disease like diabetes. There's no use getting angry at them since they don't know and will never believe they've done wrong. Even in events such as this there can be a positive. By the parents and people like them showing prayer alone simply doesn't work maybe a few people who were thinking of such a dumbass treatment may think twice. It's unfortunate for the girl, but perhaps in this way her death may save others from a similar fate. It's simple - they should be punished because they were neglectful. They failed to get their child the proper medical care, and she certainly couldn't get it on her own. If those (adult) parents had declined medical care for themselves, that's fine - but they had a responsibility to take care of their child and they did not do so. Yes, and it falls directly into child abuse and ultimately they did kill their daughter.
