I miss you (Li manco in Italian) in Spanish is nothing more then words to someone who does not necessarily understand.

Around something like that.. Makes more sense in Italian..

lol, obviously i don't know Italian, either stressed

i think that's true, though, Tak. but that is also precisely why it haunted me. no words at all for over a month, and suddenly she sends this tiny phrase in a language she knows i don't understand. it's not the meaning that makes any difference. that's why i said it didn't matter what it meant because i didn't know. it's just a haunting.

Yeah, you know that last part is somewhat true... but maybe... there's sometimes when saying something in another language makes it mean more... SO much more...

I know it's not sad, but one time my boyfriend learned "I love you" in Bulgarian, just so that he could say it to me in a different way... maybe she thought you wouldn't respond if she said it simply as "I miss you"... cuz another language has a certain, and i'm not suggesting anything here, romance to it that doesn't exist in one's own language... I don't know. All i'm saying is that maybe she was trying to make it mean more, rather than less.
