The royal city in the Western Province. It is well-known to be the capital of the entire world and is where the King and Queen of the Western Province reside. More information on Opalescent City may be found in the Lyndrian Athenaeum.

Cities, Shops, and Landmarks

Lyndria is a vast world inhabited by many types of Humans, as well as magical beasts. And as every Lyndrian knows all to well, where there are Humans, there are shops.

This thread will list all of the various major cities and their shops and landmarks around Lyndria. For reference, we will also list the Lyndrian currency at a later date. This should help any adventurers who are new to the world in their quest to becoming a Trade-savvy entrepreneur. This should be vital information, as gold does make the world go round!

Opalescent City

Opalescent is the largest city in Lyndrian history. It is also known as the Royal City and the Imperial City, due to the fact that it is also the city where the Lyndrian Royal Castle may be located. Because of its size and fame, it naturally has many shops and attractions. These are just a few.


Here, the shopkeepers will advertise their shops and wares for you:

The Enchantment Emporium is the place for all of your magical needs! Are you out of willpower and in a hurry to regain it? Why waste your time resting up, when you can buy a Will Potion right here!
Need a magical staff or weapon? Look no further! I've got plenty in stock, all the time!
Perhaps you're not looking for a specific magical item.. Weeell, that's fine, too! I have plenty of miscellaneous magical items right here for incredible prices! Just look around and let me know if you need anything, at all!

Sparks and Steel. There is no finer place in all o' Lyndria for armor and weapons. Who needs all that fancy magic stuff when ye can just hack an' slash your way through practic'ly any beast? Everythin' has a weak point. What better way to find it than by swingin' your sword?

The Healer's Aspiration, as the name suggests, is the perfect place for the aspiring Healer, or Alchemist. We sell the finest herbs, books, and Healing Potions for reasonable prices.

Maelstrom Good and Trade is a tradin' place! It's where things get shipped in an' traded! You may find some'in good, you may not! I dun care!! Leave me alone!!

The Sotted Bar & Inn is just wot it is! A bar and inn! We sell ale, food, and beds. 'Nuff said!

Wayward Inn and Pub is a sailor's haven. We serve others, but mainly, sailors drink and rest here.

The Cathedral does not sell items. It is a Holy place, where one may rest and heal themselves quickly, as well as pray at our alters.



The Royal Opalescent Castle is the home of Queen Thena Angelleius IV, herself! (And the King, of course)...
It takes up nearly a fourth of the city itself, and can be located near the back of Opalescent City, just overlooking the Sea.
