Knife OR gun?

its too risky to use knife and its impossible to find ammunition for pistol, but for me pistol to slow zombies down and taekwondo moves to finish him down.

I prefer guns myself.

But in a tight spot, like if I have no more ammo I will use the knife. Any other time using the knife will probably lead anyone closer to death.

I liked Chris' blade in RE5 though. I wish they had longer blades like a sword or machete.

Despite my lack of skills, I still think the knife is very over looked. Tis a handy little devil, and a great way to conserve ammo. smile

i just enjoy the sound of my knife slicing through the soft jugular of some poor unforutanue b*****d. Yeah i like my knife 3nodding

The knife is hard to use but always finds a spot in my inventory because i never run out of knife.

I'd say knife for regular enemies
crows,zombies,spiders
and gun for bosses and higher enemies
hunter,spider,tyrant

I did a pistol only run through RE4 and....it was frustrating, the knife was one of the most important aspects of the game, nearly the whole first village i nearly knifed them all, it basically walk towards them just enough till they swing and then in there recoil jump in, knife, kick, kill, repeat. That saves immense ammo. Pistols only but i did include grenades and obviously the knife.
