Good stories?

Anyone write any good stories or poems or songs (etc)?

Well, that depends on what you mean by "anyone" and what you mean by "good." c;
Personally, I can't tell if my writing is good or not because its always so deeply rooted into me. It takes me a few weeks to forget about it, and then when I read it again, I can usually gauge its worth a bit better, though that's not what you were asking, was it. ;]

I'm reading a book called "The Titans Curse" right now. Its the third book in the Percy Jackson And The Olympians series. Its really good.

That and I'm working on a story.

Songs yes! A lot of songs. I've really been working on my singing career lately. I figure if the Jonas Brothers (who, admittedly are very cute) and Miley Cyrus can get discovered then so can I! My dream would be to work on Broadway and get a record deal with Virgin Records. heart

I suck at writing songs. I've written one song that I'm proud of.

But I'd like to think my poetry and stories are good.

Well, if I try to write a song with words and different instrumental parts, etc etc, then I fail. But I'm not too bad with making solos and composing for piano. c:

Haha. Instrumental is well beyond my skills. I can come up with melodies. But then I have trouble fitting the words to the melody in ways that don't sound wonky.

I haven't tried writing the actually music. Just the lyrics. Hhhmmm...wish I had a baritone.....
