'Kay. So, pretty much every language has slang now. I was looking up Swedish slang, but everything came up as really perverted and nasty. D:

Is there any popular slang at the moment? Ones that aren't really nasty?

Tack så mycket!

(Oh, and sorry for not speaking Swedish in this. I didn't wait to ruin your language. I'm still not very good at speaking it. XD)

Slang isn't my thing... I think I'm too old for that. xp But there are a lot of english slang words used and english slang directly translated into swedish.

It kinda depends on where it is you mean.

For example, in Stockholm the slang is a hell of a lot different to in Västra Göteland (Göteborg, Trollhättan), and NOONE understands people from Malmö xd

I speak "Göteborska" (Swedish from around Göteborg) so I guess mine could be different to other peoples on here smile

Käka - Eat
Fejla - Fail
Chattar - Talk/Chat

A lot of Swedish slang near me is just English words but said and spelt with a Swedish accent, or with the Swedish ending.
(For example "Fejla".
"Fail" -> "Fejl" -> +Ending -> "Fejla")
