I'll give a hug to anyone who wants one... actually me and some friends started this thing in middle school that didn't really catch on called "Happy Cards" and we gave little index cards with smiley faces and "Be Happy!" on it out to people... hugs would get us sent to the principal's office for "sexual harrasment", paper won't!

Although I enjoy hugs, I think the free hugs thing should be banned for the sake of young people.
What if some sick and twisted person decides to do the free hug thing just to get to children or is about to stab someone? Those are things to look out for.
BUT, I do like the concept of it. =]

I'm inclined to agree with Anita here.
A very free-hugging society is going to cause personal space issues to some people. Plus, not every sex offender wears a t-shirt with that proudly emblazoned upon it. It's really best to keep away from that whole random affection thing.
But that's not really the point of Free Hugs, I guess, so...
