Earthquakes and floods erupt on this planet.
Poseidon is no longer willing
to stay mute.
Breathe easy.
Smilesmilesmile.

Spewing out the waste
we have tried to hide
by sitting on top of the lid
of our collective garbage can.

People keep whispering, "2012."
Keep saying, "What's the point
of changing our ways?
It'll be over soon enough."
Soon. Enough.
Soon, we will say
enough.

And what shall we tell the children
trying to cough their way through
false democracies, personas, and bodies of water
that will eat your skin
if you dare go in?

All of our saints have business cards,
with CEO attached to their name.

Where are the people who remember how to dance?
The ones that don't move through life like rigid robots?
But most importantly I ask,
where have our hearts gone?

"Poseidon was the most primitive of the gods, the earthshaker, the god of storms and earthquakes, of the sudden devastation of tidal waves–the dangers unleashed when the forces slumbering under the surface of consciousness erupt." -Arianna Stassinopoulos, The Gods of Greece.

No, no you really don't. The whispering keeps you awake for weeks on end, uptight and restless. Trying and failing to find the words to portrey the scene in your mind.

It is more of a torture then a gift.

exclaim sad

For me, the words come as-is in my head, and it's like I'm writing the novel in my head. What I wish I could do, really, is draw everything the way I see it... It never works out that way... So then I'm up all night anyway thinking about how to draw Everan's face. stare

*sob*

But...but I gave you the U2 picture! It looks just like him!!!!!!

Something tells me my stories, really late at night. But it's rather patient, I think.

Just 'cos it's torture doesn't mean I don't want it. I've never experienced the pain, after all, but I can see the pretties quite well. Especially in this case.

I love the first part. I'm pretty sure there's some kind of fancy way to say that, but you understand, right, Tak? You write beautifully.
