Step 5. Experiment. Always try new things. Don't worry about style because you won't really develop one until your mid twenties. And even then, still try new things. You can NEVER know too much.
my favorite rule of all! I have grown SO much because I was introduced to different mediums and styles, etc. I go to an art-sy high school. My freshman year I did cinematography, photography, studio art, dance, music, drama. I was introduced to so much awesome-ness. I was forced many times to do different things that helped me grow ALOT. Like right now in my computer design/Flash animation class, I took on the challenge of doing more advanced stuff and I'm learning SO much in such a short amount of time. Experimenting is definitely an important thing.
