the first one is awesome but the second one needs a lil work. i bet u draw best when the item is in front of you; therefor, if you wana practice anime, just draw anime from the internet or books till u get better.

The first one's ok, but the anime guy really needs to be fixed. I don't mean to sound like a critic, but the eye is too big and too high up on the face. The guy needs a forehead below his hair, and the hair doesn't end just on his head. You gotta bring some down the side of his face, make side burns. You know. The fingers are a little too square, but that's all I'll say about hands. (i'm not good at them myself. -.- ) And if he's smiling, draw some cheeks. A small faint hill a little under his eye. Make the nose a little small and after the tip, make the bottom part small. And voila`.
