Hi, everyone.
I was hoping someone would be able to help me out with a little problem i have. See, I am wanting very badly to volunteer with my towns local Symphonic Orchestra ( playing, of course) but I don't know how to answer one of the questions I am being asked. I don't know what Grade level I play at! I am a Bassoonist, with a range of almost two octaves (I'm one semi-tone away) Playing from the low ledger line Bb up to a high ledger A. I sometimes struggle with sixteenth notes, however they are do-able. I recently started playing Bach's "Badinerie" and am finding it to be about right for me. Playable, but still enough of a challenge that I actually need to practice, rather than just wanting to.

Sorry, just though I should add that the part I am playing for Badinerie is usually the one preformed on the flute.

I stopped playing bassoon in college, but my friends keep pressuring me to pick it up since I was really good. They want me to enter a concerto competition. Any good ideas?
