Seems like everybody's got a price
I wonder how they sleep at night
When the sale comes first and the truth comes second
Just stop for a minute and smile

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For choir we have three songs:
Poi Ch'el Mio Foco E Spento (my favorite XD)
A Festive Alleluia
Dark Brown is the River

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag

Right now, my choir is working on pieces for State festival(=
we are working on:
Cantate Domino (Nancy Hill Cobb)
Days of Quiet Joy (music and text by Paul Basler)
Old Joe Clark (American folk song, arranged by Mary Goetze)

My favorite that we're working on is Old Joe Clark, because it's challenging and I love how we need to work together and listen to each other alot more than other pieces. Especially since we are going to preform this A cappella. It's gonna be so fun and amazing (=

I just finished Faust Symphony with my university's orchestra and now I'm working on the John Williams' Bassoon Concerto called "Five Sacred Trees". Such a sweet piece.

~Revive!~ lol

My university's symphony chorus will be doing Dona Nobis Pacem by Vaughan Williams in a little over a week. We're performing at Detroit's Orchestra Hall. It's gonna be pretty awesome, I imagine.

Personally......I'm preparing for major standing. *nervous* Gotta get my pieces (in four different languages) memorized. I've got Le Bonheur est Chose Legere by Saint-Saens, Wie Melodien Zieht es Mir by Brahms, Poor Wand'ring One by Gilbert and Sullivan, and Quel Sguardo Sdegnosetto by Monteverdi. Exciting, but nerve-wracking! >w<

:[
I feel like I suck compared to most of the pieces you guys play...
My school orchestra is currently doing quite literally nothing since the end of the year is coming up.
I'm still working though, Vivaldi's Concerto for Two violins in A Minor, and I'm currently on a quest to find Death and The Maiden by Schubert. It's impossible to find sheet music for it though... And I have no current access to any means of buying it.
Oh well. Things just go as is right :]?

Singing wise, I am working on:
