I saw Sovay by Celia Rees last week at Borders, bought it, and read it. I LOVED it! Has anyone else read it?

It's about a girl living in England who becomes a highwayman after her fiancé cheats on her. Her father and brother are accused of treason, so she has to help them while keeping herself alive.

I've never heard of it. It sounds completely out of the realm of what I usually read, but I like to try new things! Maybe I'll look for it next time I'm at the book store or library.

I hadn't heard of it either (since I think it came out not long before I bought it), but the summary drew me in. The books I read can be varied, although I'll read pretty much anything if it advertises a strong female protagonist. mrgreen
