I'm going to have to jump on this bandwagon here:
PAYING REAL MONEY FOR FISH THAT DIE IN LESS TIME THAN REAL LIFE FISH IS EVEN MORE BLATANT PROFITEERING THAN ADDING A DOZEN POSES TO EACH DIFFERENT MONTHLY COLLECTIBLE!
I used to enjoy gaia. I used to enjoy playing the games. I used to enjoy making a little gold here and there and being able to use it on cute items.
But I haven't been enjoying gaia lately. Every time I turn around it seems like a new feature is added, but it costs money. REAL MONEY, that I could use to buy art supplies or food or something more interesting than FAKE PIXEL FISH THAT DIE SO QUICKLY!
So, I know you won't, but I ask that you completely reconsider and change the aquarium from being a cash shop to being a gold shop. Then maybe add PREMIUM NON-DYING fish items to the cash shop that already exists. If you don't do that, well, I guess I won't even bother using the starter stuff you *give* me just to watch a couple of cute goldfish die.
And yes, I do realize you're trying to sweeten the deal by giving us a clam that supposedly will give us items based on how our aquariums do... but... that's not much of an incentive for me as I have no luck at all in games of chance and never play them if they're going to cost me real money.
Please, reconsider this bone-headed decision gaia... it looks like it can be a really cute feature...
