Riley let out a geral growl when the heard Jen whisper. She lunged at their hiding spot, a knife in one hand and a syringe in the other. "Why can't you just stay dead?!" she screeched, throwing the knife at Jen.

Jen felt the knife slice her shoulder blade and gasped. She spun around. "Riley... How wonderful to see you..."
Irro said, "K-Kara... D-do it now... Before Jen attacks you."

Kara put the IV in Irro's arm and squeezed the bag to mak the blood go in.
Liz felt her wounds heal. "You're dead." She stood up and flapped her healed wings. "I'm sick of being kind to you if you're just going to be ungrateful."

"And I'm sick of going easy on you." Riley pulled out a black pill, popping it into her mouth. Quickly, she crunched down, swallowing the disgusting thing. "The beauty about being here is when you try new experiments to make us stronger, we save them. Then, when we need them the most, we'll use them for our benefit, not yours." Riley felt a ripple pas through her body, and she shrieked, going down onto all fours. "Here comes beasty."

Liz grimaced. "You're the most hideous freak here, Riley. I'm going to enjoy splicing you." She flapped her wings hard, forcing herself into the air. "Enjoy your memories, Riley. You have eternity to review them in Death!" Liz stopped flapping and dropped like a bullet toward Riley.

Riley swiftly dodged Liz, sinking er new, razor-sharp fangs into Liz's right wing. She felt the bone pop and the metallic taste of blood in her mouth. With her left hand, which hadn't completely changed, she plunged the needle full of her blood into the ruined wing's artery.

Liz did the only thing to save herself, knowing if her blood and Riley's mixed, the cells would attack themselves. She ripped the wing off at it's base. "I don't need my wings to kill you, Riley." She grabbed Riley's neck and started squeezing.

Kara spotted Liz trying to strangle Riley. She got up and tackled Liz, Throwing her against a wall. "I'm so sick of you pompous psychopaths!!!" Kara bit Liz's wrist and refused to let go.

Riley rubbed her neck and started gasping for air. Damn it! She ripped off her wing! She thought miserably. She sat up, still gasping and felt her throat start to close. Oh God, not an asthma attack! "Hel....lp ....m.ee....."

Liz beat at Kara's face with her other fist. "Let go, dammit!"
Kara didn't, but managed to reach into Liz's pocket and pull out another needle. She let go and plunged in whatever it was into Liz's neck. "Die, you freak!!!"
Liz froze up. "No....." She collapsed on the ground and started coughing up blood. "That... *Huff* Was your... *Koff* DNA....... *Weird bubbly noise* It... *Koff* was never... *hack* Stabalized..." Liz collapsed with a weak grunt, dripping blood from her mouth.
The mixture of cells that never worked on any other than Kara and Jake had managed to kill Liz. Killed by her own experimental mixture.

As the pill wore off, Riley lost what little control she had over her breathing. She clawed at the walls, hyperventilating. Black spots formed at the edge of her vision as she tried to regain control. "H...el... muh....." she managed to sputter, but it came out in nothing more than a whisper. Riley crawled helplessly over to Kara, tears in her eye as they started rolling back into her head. She weakly grabbed at Kara's arm

Kara noticed Riley's shallow gasps for air. "RILEY!!" She pushed Riley down and tilted her head back to open Riley's airway. "Calm down, Riley. Just breathe calmly." She knew CPR and was going to use it if Riley didn't manage to calm down on her own.

Riley's breathing became more shallow as her lungs ached with air. she weakly grabbed Kara's arm, squeezing it tightly. Riley closed her eyes and slowed her still shallow breathing. "Air....."

Kara looked around and spotted the life saver. An oxygen tank with a mask. She strapped it onto Riley's face and turned the knob to make the oxygen come out. "Now breathe calmly, Riley. You'll be fine..." Kara pet Riley's hair, trying to make sure the poor girl calmed down enough to be able to breathe again.

Riley gasped a few more times before the life giving oxygen filled her lungs. She inhaled deeply, opening her eyes. She closed them again when the world started to spin. "Thank....you." she managed to say between gulps of air. Riley smiled at Kara
