Ehh so I was sitting here one day eating a bowl of ice cream because my tongue became inflamed because of a supposed allergy and I was thinking that there's got to be someone out there to start this off, not sure how many people will read it or anything :/

Ehh.... we all have to start somewhere sometime.

The Kingdom

Someone save me from my boredom.
I have truthfully become lost.
This is not my kingdom,
but where am I and at what cost?

To tell the truth I can not tell.
It must have hurt me to get here.
I must have fallen down to hell.
I am suffering and under a tear.

Why does no one answer when I call?
I stand alone in the dungeon of this kingdom.
Maybe I should not stand up so tall.
I am the cause that I have no freedom.

I do not belong here in this place.
I have pushed myself way to far.
Now I can't look myself in the face.
My stupidity has left this door ajar.

I have pushed away the love.
I have pushed away the laughter.
I wish I could fly away like a dove,
but I can't, I don't deserve a happily ever after.

When I push away life,
I don't deserve to live.
But how do I bring back life?
Maybe I need to care, need to give?

It is to late now, I have lost.
I can't be saved from my boredom.
But at least I know the cost.
I must stay in here this kingdom.

Ehhh maybe my rhyme sucks but poetry isn't purely for rhymes, it rhymes to be fun, poetry is for the emotion and I hope I portrayed it well :/

Why?
How could you do this to me,
I thought that you were a friend.
I thought that you could see.
Now my heart will never mend.

We used to have a love we shared.
We gave our love for free.
But now nothing else can be compared
to the dishonesty you gave to me.

Why did you have to make me pay?
Why did I pick you, a path so treacherous.
Now my heart and soul are giving way.
It could have just been us.

But you didn't, you just had to make me fall.
The first time hurt, but the second time was murder.
You should be ashamed, don't stand so tall.
To me, a girl, why did you have to hurt her?

You were my emotional crutch.
So I knew it was the end.
and it was the time I needed you oh so much.
But why did you have to do it again?

You locked me in despair,
and wouldn't give the key.
I await here for some one who is there.
I know now you wont let me free.

I did not dessert you.
I would never hurt you.
I can feel my heart on fire.
I know that you're a liar.

You were supposed to be a friend,
I can clearly see the message you have sent.
I am hurting, I can feel my heart bend.
I know now what your message meant.

Yet another and for now I leave with just these 3 pieces of a repertoire of many and many more to come hopefully :/

Body of a Woman

Curves like that of a slender hour glass,
In which his eyes are always cast.
Smooth as silk, as silk could ever be.
It is her eyes, that he will only see.
Oh so gentle, is her touch,
Which is why he loves her much.
From her lips are the sweetest smiles,
sweetest kiss.
To love her is to not leave her,
to have her is to hold her,
to want her is to know her,
to see her is to free her,
to please her is to be with her.
She stands in her splendor,
her hands, oh so slender.
She stands for herself, head held tall.
You shouldn't ever let her fall.
Eyes so bright, you know she's yours.
Can you hold her in her pain?
Yes, you must, or she'll be slain.
Her voice, as soft as a sunny day,
when she laughs, you can feel her warmth,
but when she cries, you feel her pain.
Together your hands are a perfect fit,
apart, they strive to find their lover's hand.
Can you feel her voice so strong,
when she says "I've loved you, oh so long"?
Her scent, an early spring day,
without her, you would surely stray.
The body of a woman, treat her well.
She's your calling, she's your bell.

Pretty good poems I have read just now. I was touched by "Body of a Woman".

And I also agree that poetry is not about ryhmes. it's about what you wrote in these three (and hoping more than trhee) poems: emotions, thoughts...

Keep it up!! 3nodding

You may just delete this post so that the poems can be like, listed. sweatdrop

Guilt Tap

Oh my dear,
I love you dearly.
But when push comes to shove,
you will know...

Your fingers down my spine..

How you were there... always there,
to take care of me,
let me go...

It's no lie, you house my body, but not my soul.
I am not your puppet to dress up,
to move to your hand any more.
You cut and scraped my strings on your jagged
visions of what I should be...
just for you...
your sweet... I love you always.

I do love you, but you only demand... me my very being.
I can't help but love you,
but you broke my tether keeping me so close,
clutching on to me as you told me you loved me.
You snapped the lines pulling so hard.

Always guilty...

I am always yours,
because you are always mine and always love me.

Blah blah blah I recently finished this piece, I think it turned out well, at least enough it started out from feeling of overbearing from my mother but then again it could always be for other obsessive or over bearing people... how they always make you feel guilty for them, their little guilt tap because they do love you and the are so nice but overbearing it's just... crazy D=

._. Somehow this came really handy after I got grounded xD

This one is something messy within the organization; but other than that is pretty good actually :3

I know it's pretty messy but I kind of disregarded that part >< I wasn't sure how to set it up. I have a bunch more previous pieces but I don't feel like posting them :/

This recent one started out as a reactionary thing where I was just upset when writing it :/ and you know how feelings can mess up your mind and thinking ><
