How bout a tutorial database where everyone can post their own made tutorials or tutorials they have found to be helpful or seem to be cool and they think people will like them.

All credit to Genesis80 about the graphics battle.
Why not form a complete subforum dedicated to the competition usingn graphic design. A battle system where you can challenge a single persoono a grup oof people or host large challenges. Maybe even host a contest run by the guild that picks a theme for in which those who enter must enter something related. Have them submit them to one person who will list annonymously and have the members of the group vote on which is the best in portraying the theme oor subject.
Credit to Genesis for bringing up the battle stuff. I just wanted to say something unsure if they were going to.
And if you accept this I would be willing to pay for the sub-forum.
And about the tutorials; it would be up to you to either make the seperate thread or just add it in it
