Er...yes. I live in China now. Well, one way I noticed is that the workbooks are very hard. There aren't any lessons in them and they are very tough and boring. My mom bought me a fourth grade one...when I looked inside, I found some sixth grade and fifth grade stuff in there. And I go to SMIC Private, which is the closet you can get to a local Chinese school without too much toughness.

Where did you move from? Have you had any problems adjusting to the different culture? I loved the opening to the Summer Olympics. It really made a statement about how many Chinese there are and their thinking of self-sacrifice for the greater good of the society as a whole. There's plenty of competitiveness in America, but it tends to be very self-serving. We are so busy trying to "keep up with the Jones." But maybe attitudes are changing lately?
