Dino Crisis is a fast paced action game that keeps you on your toes with things that like to jump out at you and do so very often. You play Regina, an elite member of a special task force that is sent with her two partners, Gail and Rick, to an island to recover all data pertaining to experiments held by the scientist, Dr Kirk, who died 3 years ago. Your contact is dead, as well as one other team member that dies before he can meet up with you. When you get to the facility, everyone else is dead too, and the power is off. It's up to you to discover what happened and to collect all the stuff you need to get out alive.

The controls are a bit jerky if you're not used to it, and the graphics can seem stiff compared to newer games. But you get wrapped up in it very easily as you're chased from one end of the compound to the other by - you guessed it - dinosaurs. The inventory system is vast and extensive, as you collect, combine, upgrade, and try to choose which items to pick up, and which to leave behind based on what you think would be most useful. Make sure to have plenty of health packs because if you get hit too badly, you literaly bleed to death, and there are many things that hit you, and hit hard on this island. This Game has a lot of blood, so be prepared to see yourself dripping if you're not careful.

The A.I. that the dinos have can change the reactions that they make everytime you go through an area, so it's best to kill everything you encounter, and of course expect new things to pop up every now and then.

There are many different endings to get based on the choices that you make during the "decision events". So what you do decides who lives and who dies. Make smart choices, as someone you save could save your life later on.

One of the most exciting games that I've ever played, it will quickly take one of the top spots on your survival-horror game list. Go into this game expecting to be on the edge of your seat the whole time.
