Web Design Question

Alright I was wondering what most of you look for in a website, so basically..

What do you think a website should have on it, or when you go to a website what keeps you there and gets you interested in the website.

Hmmm...I'm a sucker for easy navigating: Drop-down menus, stuff like that. I'm also a fan of clicking one of the menu links and having the area below change, instead of the entire page.

I also love small websites. Like this, for instance.

For me, I'd say sites that are eye catching, or are easy to navigate.

I'm very partial to flash based sites as they don't load an entire new page, the content below just changes. Otherwise sites designed through wordpress work well too.

i personally prefer a darker background with a contrasting light font, rather than a white back ground and dark font. I dont know why, i just do! I also love drop down navigation...

Hmm..I say in designing a Web Page, the page much look interested, nice layout, and not too busy background wink
