really, isn't their a way to get rid of old forums that don't pertain to even close to current news. Member activity is at its dying breaths if not dead

A couple problems vex the board. First, there's been very little new membership. Second, most of the old members have gotten too busy or quit Gaia. That's a one-two punch that will kill any board. I still check the thing daily. But, when I'm the only other one posting, it gets kinda pointless coming up with new stuff to rant about. What the board really needs is a recruitment drive. I was going to handle that at some point, but got way too busy. If you wanna do some of the grunt work, I'd be happy to share some of my ideas with you on how to best get the sort of members we want.
I've been having so many errors with this site lately. But I agree. However, if you want it fixed up, we're going to need to get activity. The old threads will never be deleted, it's a great way for us republicans to get some nostalgia on the past we had... we can lock them in the future after we get some activity!

Maybe if we just stored all the old threads in an archive sub-forum we could use to refer to things for.
