The Rotom event ( Wifi-- April 20th-May 12th)

Have I missed it? I can get my ds on wifi now and I did the pamphalet thingy with the Rotom code but nothing, and nothing I can find online helps either. Anyone here have some news about it?

To my knowledge... rotom can be caught in any game when the elite four have been beaten, by examining the TV in the Old Chateau.

He's actually talking about the event that unlocks the secret key, allowing Rotom to change between forms in Pokemon Platnium...

I'm not sure if it's over yet, I myself being in Australia where Platnium isn't even released. Generally you can search Serebii.net and it will tell you...

Technically there aren't any events for Platinum specifically that have happened yet, but the Shaymin and/or Regigigas that were given out at Toys 'R' Us have additional functionality when brought over to Platinum. I think the trainer ID on the event pokemon lets Platinum know you can get their additional content.

As for Rotom, the pamphlet included with the game describing "How To Get Rotom's New Forms" was misleading. All the pamphlet does is tell you how to activate the Mystery Gift function when Platinum boots up.
The Secret Key will be released via a special event through WFC Mystery Gift, and it hasn't happened in North America yet. Pokemon.com, or the Platinum minisite, are what to check to see when events are going to happen.

So you haven't missed anything yet.

From what I've gathered, I've assumed that when the WFC is started, only people who have entered all 5 codes on the gimmick site will be granted the Key. Don't ask me how they're gonna tell who has and who hasn't since the DS gets it's own IP.

I'm almost positive that's not how it works.

Huh, it ends on my Bday, probably the day I will get Platinum.
