i dont really like her. she is really pretty but i dont think she can sing that well. i think she just sings really loud to try to make herself sound better which a lot of punk rock artists do. i think the song girlfriend is really annoying. and it basically premotes being shallow. a lot of people ask me how. the reason i think so is because the basic message to the song is that you should end a relationship for someone cooler or prettier. and a lot of young girls listen to her music so they follow that example no offense to her fans. just my opinion

I used to listen Avril Lavigne's music but not anymore really. And I liked her old songs more.

I like a lot of her songs off her first (and second) albums, but I really, really don't like the songs on her third and fourth albums.
