How many do you have? Because there's only so many, you use an extra ingrediant to halve the ingrediants or to double them to get ultima waepon. you can't literally find that many in game.
Not all of the orichalcums can be acquired by searching methods.

Orichalcum+: Obtain all material types; complete the Starry Hill Torn Page; complete the "A New Day is Dawning" musical; win the Goddess of Fate Cup; chest at the Central Computer Mesa; chest at the Sunset Terrace; chest at The Brink of Despair.
the hardest one to get is the seventh one (wich is the last one even though it says you need 13) in oreder to get it you need at least 1 of EVERY material
