This is rather surprising.

Hopefully it won't tank, like most of the other VG or anime-based live action movies...

Then again, it just might.

I heard even the Chun-Li movie wasn't well-recieved.

I suppose you're right....I still have Fatal Fury...well, there was an anime trilogy, however that was at least good.

Unfortunately, there are too many things wrong with the movie already. It also doesn't help that one of the actors constantly references the non-existent King of Fighters '93 which shows that the actors aren't paying too much attention to the series.

Also, the plot that they are using is not a legitimate King of Fighters plot.

Maybe the extra boost onto people's radar and the money from the royalties will help the game series? Perhaps a silver lining? Oh and they want to do a sequel! Isn't that great D?
