I'm just going to be blunt and say this but I truly believe our own government has been planning to warp us into the United Socialist States Of America. The problems a year or so before the 08 election seem to fit. It's like an itch I can't scratch at. I'll try to make as much sense as possible so bear with me. It's 1:30 where I'm at and I'm a little sleepy. =] Anyways...

The housing crisis. I'm sure we all know what happened. There were NINJA (No Income No Job or Assests) loans out to people who couldn't afford to pay for those houses anyways. This lead to foreclosures and thus hurting the housing market. Who could have possibly urged these loaning companies to lend "those poor people" money so they can have a place to stay in even though they knew they couldn't pay back the loan? The government. Some politicians pushed them and the stupid companies gave in and look at the beautiful mess they've created.

Ohhh here's a fun one. The economy!. Personally I'm choosing NOT to participate in this "recession" via living the way I normally do. I'm doing my part by putting money back into circulation.

Ha, this reminds me of the stimulus BS. Sidetracking a little bit. That "stimulus" was meant so people would spend money for circulation and sure as heck, it failed cause people just put the money in banks. What makes matters worse? More bills are still being printed anyways thus lowering the value of the dollar. Back to what I was saying.

The media is hyping the economy to be extremely horrible (I don't pay attention to mainstream media so I can't make exact quotes but I know what they say) and that is putting people in a panic. Now I've read some stuff involving our current economy and I can say right now it's not as bad as it seems. Of course the economy is going to have its high points and low points because it's just following the natural cycle. Back to the panic thing I was talking about. Panic usually creates confused minds which equals the lessening of one's own common sense (assuming one has such a thing) and panic was an effective tool to set up Obama to win. For those that didn't vote for him due to race, they truly believe that he was going to fix things and "make them rich" >.>

Now for our President. He seems to pop up at the "perfect" time. We live in a country where political correctness is practiced heavily. There are the blacks that voted from him because he's black himself (even though he's half white). There are the whites that voted from him out of white guilt or because they follow this MTV generation trend where I guess they believe it's a "hip thing to do" or whatever you kids call it nowadays. Hispanics love him because he's for amnesty, illegals etc. Jews, well I have no idea why smart people like them would vote for him...Oh well...Back to my point, he arrived just like Hitler did. Germany was in bad shape and Hitler basically made a lot of promises to turn Germany into a powerful country and Obama did pretty much the same thing. History seems to repeat itself.
Hopefully there won't be a holocaust.

To sum this all up, these pieces fit together just like a jigsaw puzzle. These problems seem to show up at an ideal time. I'm going to sleep now so I'm done typing but I think you all can see what I'm trying to say. I truly believe the government has a plan to dismantle our country and turn it into the USSA. Thank you for reading this long drawl =].

Our constitution basically says majority rules, if a majority wants socialism, let them eat cake!

If government were capable enough to pull off a conspiracy like this we would have nothing to fear from socialism. A government managed economy would be pretty sweet if it were run by the sort of all-knowing tight-lipped brilliant sages it would take to pull off a conspiracy of the sort you mention. That socialism has generally not been that great in the places that have tried it also serves as a compelling counter-point to your observation. . . government just isn't that competant. Most of these guys are just careerist shills operating with no rhyme or reason outside making voters happy for the next election cycle. These guys can't pull off a decade long conspiracy to alter America into something the people are very wary of, a significant percentage now seem no longer capable of keeping themselves in office from one election to the next.

Always remember a favorite line of mine from the movie Cube:
"Worth: This may be hard for you to understand, but there is no conspiracy. Nobody is in charge. It's a headless blunder operating under the illusion of a master plan. Can you grasp that? Big Brother is not watching you."
