As someone who has debated theology for a long time with christians , this is made even more hilarious by the fact that it really isnt that big of a stretch . Ive specifically debated with apologists who actually used the following arguments seriously - tis very sad , true , and somewhat funny .

Oh geez , dont even get me started on how retarded TAGers are . No matter how much you point out the first statement is an assumotion they still dont get it . There are actually entire 600 page apologetic articles defending this argument ... which really isnt misrepresented in any way in the quote above . In the words of halo when you kill 25 chiefs .... Un freakin believable .

geez this one is so fing common it just makes me sick . I remember one apologist who was arguing miracles as proof ... and when I pointed out that he was confusing everday coincidence with miracles he ranted on about how the unsaved refuse to acknowledge god . xp

the classic argument that almost all christians make at one point or another . Its just as common as it is amusing because it practically proves our point - they are unable to distinguish between logic and emotion .

Its actually called being slain in the spirit - and there is a lot of psychology behind why it happens . Its mainly peer pressure backed by self hypnosis and emotional instability that causes someone to lose sense of reality and enter a sub-catatonic state where they believe themselves to be infused with the holy spirit . Probobly bad for their health , but since there is no telling them that their spiritual experience is nothing but a very explainable dillusion mental health experts tend to let it slide .

Ive personally seen it happen and its very very sad . Absolutly no different from witnessing someone go into a seizure .

Holy crap I cant believe they listed this one - the funniest part here is that if you were a member of the raptureready forums you would know that there was a phase where they actually seriously tried to use this exact example as proof of gods existance .
