IDK IT MIGHT BE DIFFERENT IN CHINA I TRIED WEARING A SEMIFORMAL DRESS/CHUCKS/GREY COTTON JUMPER/OLD LADY BAG COMBO I TURNED OUT OVERDRESSED I FELT LIKE A DOUCHE everyone else was wearing a tshirt and jeans i felt silly D:
it's cool though cause it was still a good opera and i looked pretty

well, watu should wear is something that is nice like a white shirt and black pants or a dress that is black, or close to it ^^ this is wat i usually wear to see a symphone

you any big performance, whethere a symphony, opera, orchestra band, you always dress up. play or musicals you don't really have to unless it was like a shakespeare play. those who don't dress don't have manners.

Usually when I go, everyone is always dressed up nice and formal.
